Kendra & Stefano
Kendra and I met through a mutual friend many years ago. When she told me that she was getting married and that she would like for me to photograph the wedding, I was completely thrilled. Everything was beautifully decorated and the desserts were all made by Kendra along with friends and family. The mini cakes were absolutely delicious, not to mention very creative! I love that they used something that was special to them. It was great working with the two of them. I think they would have been game for just about anything I threw at them. It was easy catching special moments, because they were always in the middle of one. You could just see them beaming with love for eachother whenever they were in the same room.
Kendra’s Cakes = Yummy!

Beautiful!

How sweet are they!

I think this little guy wanted a front row seat

Kendra’s mom looked absolutely stunning

Baby Gabriel
It was such a pleasure spending the afternoon with little Gabriel and his mommy. You could tell there was such a sweet connection between the two of them. I love it when you can just feel the bond between mother and child. He was a little upset when it came time for his wardrobe change, but just a little cuddle from mom and all was well again.

You might be a hottie if…your name is Brandi Brown!
What can I say; this girl has it going on! Just remember Brandi you started it! You’ll have to check out Brandi’s blog to know what I referring to. Be sure to check out her amazing work while you’re there. Brandi and I met at a photography conference (OSP Indy) last year. It didn’t take long to figure out that she was an amazing lady with tons of talent. I fell in love with her baby Xander and we have been friends every since. We decided it would be fun to be roomies for this year’s conference and wow did we ever have fun! Of course who wouldn’t enjoy hanging out with crazy talented photographers, shopping, eating and did I say shopping? On our last morning there, Brandi and I snuck out of the room (our other roomies were very tired girls) and had a little photo shoot in the hotel lobby.

She’s as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Love ya girl!

Photographer’s Workshop
I thought I would share about an upcoming photography workshop that will be taking place in Indianapolis March 24th-26th. If you are a local photographer looking to learn more and network with other photographers, this is right up your alley. I had the privilege of attending last year and it was well worth my time and the minimal cost to attend. Click here for more detailed information.

Blu Domain Contest

This is my Grandpa Robbins, Leland. This past November he finished his life here and began a new one with Christ. He is greatly missed. I love this photo because it shows a different side of him. He was always being ornery and joking around. In fact, most of the photos I have of him he’s sticking his tongue out. LOL Though I loved that about him, I knew there was more going on behind the jokes. I think that’s why this photo means so much to me.
I recently saw that Blu Domain, the company that is putting together my new website (more on that later) was hosting a photo contest in honor of Grandparents. I immediately thought of this photo and submitted it. To my surprise it is now in the top 4! I think this is a great honor to him and his life.

Wright Family
I have had the privilege of knowing the Wright family for almost nine years. The impact they have made on my life is incredible. It was truly God that brought us together and for that I am thankful. So you can imagine the honor I felt when they asked me to photograph their teens. A day that was nearly foiled by some rain resulted in an adventurous blessing. The bridge was beautiful and the perfect setting. I am so eager to return to the bridge. I imagine it would be amazingly elegant with a dusting of snow.

Josiah
I simply have to take a picture of this little guy every time I’m around him. He loves to give me big smiles, which only encourages me more. Let’s just say he has his very own paparazzi when I’m around. LOL I love you Josiah!
